| Introducing Kusco Daretobe Kosi Kosi will be the first Kusco puppy to enter the showring and his first show will be in late January 2009. He is a beautiful chocolate boy with lots of zing and a lovely nature and I am very much looking forward to showing him both in Victoria and interstate. Kosi obtained his first championship points on 25/4/09 (runner up to his mum Kari). Kosi had his first In Group win on 30/5/09 (Minor Puppy in Group). In September 2009 Kosi won Puppy of Breed at both Royal Adelaide and Royal Melbourne shows. Kosi has attained the title Australian Champion at the age of 1 year 2 weeks. We are very proud of little Kosi and our intention is to concentrate mainly on obedience and introduce him to herding over the next year. Kosi finished 2009 as the highest placed Victorian Kelpie 'Rising Star' on Dogzonline, coming 5th nationally. March 2010. Kosi had his elbows and hips scored with the very pleasing result of 0/0 3/3. During 2010 Kosi has been going to obedience training regularly and has passed Class 2 + 3 and is now training in Class 4. 2011. Kosi will be shown occasionally as well as continuing his obedience training. September 2011. Kosi commenced herding training which he really enjoys. June 2012 Kosi commenced Rally Obedience Training. August 2012. Kosi attained his Rally Novice Title. July 2013. Kosi won Aus Bred in Group at Wentworth. August 2013. Kosi won Aus Bred in Group at Ganmain. September 2013. Kosi and his Mum Kari won Best Parent and 1 Progeny at the Aust Kelpie Club of NSW Show. As well he gained 3rd place in Best Headed Dog and 3rd place in Aus Bred Dog. 2014. Kosi has retired from the show ring but is still my walking companion and best mate. 2015. Kosi has been neutered and as well as continuing with obedience training he will be shown in the occasional specialty show. May 2015. Kosi won Neuter in Show and Parent and Progeny in show with his mother Kari at the Aust Kelpie Club of Vic Show. June 2016. Kosi had a part in a TV commercial for Rover Lawn Mowers which was a great experience for us all. It turns out he is quite the little actor. June 2019. Very sadly Kosi left us for the Rainbow Bridge after a short illness. He will always be in my heart. |
